Get to Know Dr. Bianca Sanchez

A proud San Antonio native, Dr. Sanchez is thrilled to provide dental care to the city where she was born and raised. Putting smiles on the faces of patients, whom she considers friends and neighbors, is incredibly fulfilling, and she consistently goes out of her way to uplift individuals as well as the community as a whole through her work as a dentist in San Antonio. Before you have a chance to meet her in person, you can learn a little more about her background below.

 

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Sanchez’s grandfather, father, and uncle were all dental technicians, so she grew up around dentistry and saw how it could help people. This motivated her to take it a step further and become a dentist. She says that her passion for the field has only grown as she has learned more about it.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Sanchez graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Incarnate Word and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry at Houston. Always striving to learn and do more, she has since completed several hours of continuing education focused on dental implants, root canal treatment, and ozone treatment. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.

Dr. Sanchez's ultimate goal is to provide the best possible care with compassion, patience, and understanding. She enjoys spending time with each of her patients and developing a trusting relationship that guides their experience with our practice.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Sanchez married her high school sweetheart; today, they have been married for over 25 years and have two children and two grandsons. She considers herself a foodie and loves to take trips to the Texas Hill Country, exploring new restaurants and enjoys wine tasting with friends. She also loves taking scenic hikes, with one of her favorite places being Big Bend.
